Museum of Science and Industry launches a three-story energy exhibit with Bridgewater Studio

Bridgewater Studio was selected by the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry to design and produce a new permanent exhibit called "Powering the Future." The museum's challenge was to transform the complex subject of energy into an engaging, interactive, and accessible experience for a broad audience of all ages within a large, highly visible gallery space.

Bridgewater Studio organized the exhibit's story into multiple scales of experience, allowing visitors to explore energy as it relates to their homes, communities, and the larger world. Their solution emphasized participation, featuring custom interactives, a dramatic substation-inspired environment, and a signature three-story spiral slide that demonstrates energy concepts. The result was a landmark permanent exhibit that combines immersive storytelling and hands-on learning into one cohesive experience for the museum.
