Graduate Eugene unveils 1 oversized CNC-carved duck sculpture with Bridgewater Studio

Graduate Eugene, a hotel, wanted a distinctive lobby installation to honor the University of Oregon mascot and appeal to alumni guests. They engaged Bridgewater Studio to design and fabricate a custom oversized sculpture of a vintage pull toy duck using their CNC machining and carving services.

Bridgewater Studio engineered and CNC-carved the large duck maquette sculpture, applying custom paint finishes before installing it in the hotel lobby. They also fabricated all components in-house, including the lettering for a backlit sign. The resulting sculpture became a fan favorite for guests, successfully paying homage to the university's mascot.
