The Adler Planetarium, a major Chicago museum, sought to create a new, durable, and fully immersive exhibit to explain the Big Bang and the origins of the universe to visitors of all ages. The challenge for vendor Bridgewater Studio was to build this complex multimedia installation from scratch, which included producing all content and performing the installation while the museum remained open to the public.

Bridgewater Studio designed and produced a 360-degree interactive environment using projection mapping, depth sensors, interactive lights, and coordinated sound effects to create a seamless and awe-inspiring experience. They developed custom software and built all components in-house, testing everything in their studio prior to a carefully coordinated overnight installation. The solution successfully delivered an unforgettable, multi-sensory exhibit that gave visitors a tangible sense of the universe's vastness.
