Overseas Family School in Singapore offers an IB curriculum for students in grades nine through twelve, and its counselling team needed a simpler way to manage university applications and student documents. Academic Advisor Sara Hornseth-Bates initially brought in BridgeU primarily for its Document Sending feature to support the school’s application process, especially for students applying to US universities and through the Common App.

BridgeU helped Overseas Family School streamline document submission, track student tasks, and integrate with Parchment and the Common App, while also expanding into Analytics, Strategy Advisor, and Assessments to support research, shortlisting, and career guidance. As a result, counsellors gained better visibility across applications and used data to set realistic expectations for students; while no hard metrics were provided, Sara reported that the process became much easier and students benefited from stronger support and more effective research tools.
