North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust expands to radiology, cardiology and paediatrics with BridgeHead Software

North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust sought a solution for the long-term storage, protection, and sharing of patient information to realize its vision of a Single Patient Record. This need was particularly pressing as the Trust prepared to exit from the National PACS contracts. To address this challenge, they selected BridgeHead Software's independent clinical archive, HealthStore.

BridgeHead Software implemented its HealthStore solution, a vendor neutral archive (VNA), to house radiology images and associated data, with plans to quickly extend to other clinical disciplines. The solution is also being used to store the hospital's electronic patient records. This has provided the Trust with a centralized and secure system for managing patient information, forming the foundation of their data transformation programme.
