CommuniVax boosts vaccine confidence in Baltimore with Bridgeable

CommuniVax, a national coalition focused on an equitable COVID-19 vaccination campaign, faced the challenge of engaging communities to sustain the gains in health equity and access that emerged during the pandemic. They partnered with the vendor Bridgeable to develop a collaborative workshop solution to address this.

Bridgeable developed the CommuniVax CHAT (Community Health Access Toolkit), a step-by-step guide for convening local leaders and designing workshops. The solution allowed communities to co-create their own health initiatives. In its first use-case with barbershops and salons in Baltimore, the toolkit helped achieve higher vaccine confidence among community members and identified actionable priority areas for leaders.
