Catari integrates PON CAD with BricsCAD for scaffolding design

Catari Indústria S.A., a Portugal-based scaffolding designer and manufacturer, needed a cost-effective way to create detailed 3D scaffold models, integrate client files, run structural analyses and produce accurate cost estimates. To address this, Catari adopted Bricsys’ BricsCAD Pro (about 15 seats) together with PON CAD (a BricsCAD BRX application) to add dedicated 3D scaffolding design and estimation workflows.

By implementing Bricsys’ BricsCAD Pro with PON CAD, Catari established an end-to-end process for reading client drawings, building 3D scaffold models, exporting DWG for analysis, and generating estimates. The Bricsys solution delivered an effortless transition, faster and more intuitive modeling, ownership-style licensing and tangible benefits—roughly 15 deployed seats, lower software costs than alternatives, and significant time and cost savings that improved departmental efficiency and project turnaround.
