SLIK Architekten is a medium-sized architectural firm in Zürich that needed reliable, precise architectural drawings and exchangeable IFC models while retaining anytime/anywhere access and control over software updates. Facing changes in Autodesk’s licensing that conflicted with their workflow, SLIK Architekten adopted Bricsys’ BricsCAD® and BricsCAD® BIM permanent network licenses as their core CAD tools.

Bricsys provided BricsCAD and BricsCAD BIM, enabling a fast, low-effort migration that preserved SLIK’s existing templates and libraries; a two-person team prepared the switch, ran BricsCAD alongside AutoCAD® LT as a fallback, and removed AutoCAD® LT during a Windows 10 upgrade without disruption. The result is that Bricsys’ BricsCAD is now SLIK’s main workhorse—delivering perfect DWG compatibility, dependable IFC exchange, continued access to projects, and reduced dependency on Autodesk licensing.
