BricsCAD becomes an all-in-one CAD solution for Odisee University College

Odisee University College, one of Belgium’s largest higher-education institutions with roughly 17,000 students, needed to replace its student CAD environment while keeping 2D teaching workflows intact and improving the connection between 2D and 3D/BIM. Lecturers were initially unfamiliar with the new platform and the school was also concerned about distributing licences across many computers and networks, so they chose Bricsys and its BricsCAD offerings for the switch.

Bricsys implemented BricsCAD and BricsCAD BIM across the curriculum, supplying over 200 BricsCAD volume licences plus 150 floating network licences so students and staff could access the software seamlessly; instructors were able to teach the same curriculum at the same pace, and the school quickly introduced BIM fundamentals while resolving prior 2D–3D conversion issues. The rollout was smooth, Bricsys responded promptly to support requests, and Odisee is now exploring Bricsys 24/7 for improved project communication.
