AMS Fosters Engagement And Reaches Their Audience More Effectively Thanks to Sendinblue

AMS, the student union of UBC Vancouver representing roughly 58,000 students, needed an affordable, reliable, and user-friendly email marketing platform to communicate more time-effectively—especially as students dispersed globally during the COVID-19 pandemic. After demoing Brevo’s intuitive interface and reporting tools, the AMS team adopted Brevo’s email marketing solution (Premium plan) to replace a per-contact–charged provider.

Brevo provided reporting and scheduling features—most notably the Send at Best Time function—that let AMS reach students across time zones more effectively. Within months AMS recorded a 15% increase in open rates compared to their previous provider, improved engagement with international students, and is now planning to expand use of Brevo’s marketing automation and A/B testing to further boost results.
