Setting the Bar High With 100 CSAT at the World's First Hybrid Wine Tasting Event

Austrian Wine (Austrian Wine Marketing Board, AWMB), the Vienna‑based national service body for the Austrian wine industry, faced the challenge of running its first hybrid tasting in Moscow under COVID restrictions: they needed real attendees to taste 195 wines, see winemakers, and communicate safely — all with just 30 days to pivot. To do this they partnered with Brella and used Brella’s hybrid event platform to recreate an in‑person tasting experience while meeting strict safety and logistical requirements.

Brella enabled live contact between the 160 trade visitors in Moscow and growers in Austria via private 1:1 video meeting rooms, live chat at virtual booths, and shared documentation, while providing detailed analytics for post‑event measurement. The result: Austrian Wine met its goals of filled seats, efficient communication and high satisfaction — attendees gave a 100 CSAT score (78% “very satisfied”) and organizers praised Brella’s technical reliability and analytics, positioning the format as a model for future events.
