Case Study: Polar Bear Pitching saves its Arctic event and reaches a global audience in 7 days with Brella

A Brella Case Study

Preview of the Polar Bear Pitching Case Study

How a Frosty Event in the Arctic Went Worldwide, in Only 7 Days

Polar Bear Pitching, a daring startup competition held near the North Pole, faced cancellation after COVID-19 disrupted live events. With just seven days to pivot, the small team had no virtual-event experience, limited planning time, and needed a platform that could host livestreams and enable networking. Brella stepped in as the virtual event platform partner, offering its platform and Customer Success support to help save the event.

Working with an AV crew and using Vimeo Livestream and Zoom for production, the organizers integrated the full broadcast, schedule, and networking features into Brella so attendees could watch and connect from a single hub. The team completed online production in four days, broadcast to five global locations, opened the livestream publicly, and achieved a 50% pre-event engagement rate with many meeting requests—demonstrating Brella’s platform and support delivered rapid execution, wider reach, and strong attendee interaction.
