European Commission Brings Simple & Powerful Networking to EU-based Startups and Global Investors

The European Commission, through its European Investment Project Portal (EIPP), connects EU-based startups with global investors but wanted to strengthen face-to-face matchmaking at events like the EBAN Winter Summit. To simplify discovery and meeting scheduling for both investors and startups, the European Commission partnered with Brella, using Brella’s attendee filtering and meeting-booking networking platform.

Brella powered networking at EBAN Winter Summit 2018 and InvestEU Matchmaking 2019, enabling attendees to find best-fit partners, book meetings and hold quality in-person conversations. The two events saw roughly 500 users and 600 meetings in total (232 investors & startups and 312 meetings at EBAN; 249 users, 348 meetings and an 83% pre-engagement rate at InvestEU), demonstrating Brella’s measurable impact on efficient matchmaking and event engagement.
