At Silicon Valley Forum’s Women in Tech Festival, Brella Improved the Overall Event Experience by Helping the Festival Attendees Build Valuable Connections

Silicon Valley Forum’s Women in Tech Festival faced the common conference challenge of helping hundreds of attendees find the most relevant, long-term connections. To solve this, the festival selected Brella, a meeting-scheduling networking platform, for its ease of use and focus on improving the event experience.

Brella was piloted in 2016 and expanded for 2017 with a three-week pre-event launch and coordinated marketing; the results were strong—half of attendees signed up in the pilot with a 99% satisfaction rate, and in 2017 Brella supported 275 users who booked 406 one-on-one meetings (4× growth vs. 2016), with 90% of meetings scheduled before the event, demonstrably boosting the festival’s networking outcomes.
