Providence Italy - Customer Case Study

Providence Italy, a Havas Group company, faced a complex telephony upgrade: four different PBX brands (SELTA, Samsung, Alcatel, FreePBX) and hundreds of mixed SIP devices across sites in Milan (544 extensions) and Rome (19 extensions). To avoid replacement costs, preserve user experience, and gain cloud, mobile and VoIP fax capabilities, they selected Brekeke Software’s Brekeke PBX to provide a standards-based, non‑proprietary migration path.

Brekeke Software deployed Brekeke PBX in the cloud (Windows Server 2012) and, with local partner Biesse Sistemi, delivered a web-based VoIP Fax (supports multiple formats; manages 153 users) and a custom operator console using Brekeke PAL WebSocket for real‑time extension status and CRM popups. The solution let Providence Italy reuse all existing phones, consolidate four PBX systems into one cloud platform (Milan + Rome), eliminate multiple maintenance contracts, enable in‑house administration, and avoid hiring an extra Rome receptionist while improving internal communication and service consistency.
