Glencore Coal Assets Australia (GCAA) faced the challenge of centralizing driver awareness data from its eleven open-cut mines. They needed to establish a near real-time, self-service reporting capability for their new Operator Awareness Monitoring Centre. Breadcrumb Digital implemented an end-to-end solution featuring a central SQL Server database, near real-time data integration, and a self-service semantic model. This was complemented by a suite of Power BI reports that refresh automatically. The solution provided the OAMC with immediate visibility into operator fatigue data, enabling real-time anomaly detection and laying a foundation for future custom reporting, which helped GCAA management identify long-term safety initiatives.
