Newton Baby, a brand focused on safer, healthier sleep products for the whole family, wanted to improve conversion and increase sales for its range of crib mattresses, baby accessories, and other sleep-related products. As a Bread Pay merchant partner since 2018, Newton Baby was looking for a financing option that would resonate with customers and support purchase decisions, especially for higher-priced items.

Bread Pay’s SplitPay pay-in-four solution was implemented in November 2020, giving Newton Baby a financing option under one umbrella instead of relying on competitors. The results were strong: sales more than doubled after launch, SplitPay accounted for 70% of overall sales in 2021, and nearly half of all sales since November 2020 were attributed to SplitPay.
