The University of Oregon, a public flagship research university in Eugene, needed a better way to connect with alumni spread across less-dense and geographically distant areas. To reach these audiences, the university turned to Brazen and its virtual networking event platform to expand alumni engagement beyond major cities and local chapters.

Brazen helped the University of Oregon host monthly virtual networking sessions with themed events, location-based networking booths, and a matching tool to pair alumni with current students. As a result, the university reached alumni who otherwise might not have connected, including registrants without local chapters and even participants outside North America, making it easier for people to build meaningful connections in new places.
