Lake County Schools, the 19th largest public school district in Florida, struggled to recruit high-quality, experienced teachers because larger districts had bigger budgets and stronger employer brands. The district turned to Brazen’s virtual hiring events to stand out, reach candidates more effectively, and create its own branded recruiting experience.

With Brazen, Lake County Schools launched virtual events across the hiring funnel, from early candidate outreach to teacher retention and certification support. The results were strong: the district saw a 132% increase in new candidates per event, 14% more hires with chat sessions, and 68% more resumes with chat sessions. Lake County Schools also said most of its experienced teachers now come from Brazen events.
