Brazen PR worked with Showcase Cinemas to drive attendance during the quieter summer period by promoting free screenings of every 2018 World Cup match across its 21-site cinema estate. The challenge was to get fans into seats and generate awareness for the offer with strong consumer interest.

Brazen PR delivered a campaign combining PR stunts, experiential activity, video content and media relations, including a 75cm popcorn replica of the World Cup trophy and a Guinness World Record attempt with football freestyler John Farnworth. The campaign generated 56 pieces of coverage, 17 national hits, 58m reach, £0.0002 cost per impression, and attracted 30,000+ fans to the screenings.
