A BraveGen Case Study
Webstar, one of New Zealand's largest commercial printers, faced an increasingly competitive market and needed to find a sustainable operational advantage. Their print plant consumed significant energy, and they needed to identify actionable improvements quickly to demonstrate value. They partnered with vendor BraveGen to implement its energy monitoring system.
BraveGen installed specialized sensors on key plant assets to collect and analyze electricity, gas, and water data. Their experts identified immediate wins, like reconfiguring air compressors and chillers to reduce runtime. The solution provided by BraveGen resulted in $250k in energy savings from a 7.99% reduction, 524 tonnes of carbon savings, and an estimated $500k in annual production cost reductions, leading Webstar to install the system in three more plants.
