Gold’s Gym, founded in Venice Beach in 1965 and famed from the film Pumping Iron, is a global fitness franchise with over 700 locations on six continents. When agency McKinney developed the “Strong” brand campaign in 2012, Gold’s Gym needed a way to roll the campaign out consistently across hundreds of franchisees without prohibitive localization costs or losing brand control.
Brandworkz built the Gold’s Gym Brand Center as a self-service portal where franchisees access campaign materials, templates, brand guidelines and social support, and use Web-to-Publish to create localized marketing in minutes. The platform delivered consistent campaign deployment, reduced production costs, time-to-market and waste, improved ROI and brand consistency, and gave franchisees better marketing support.
