The customer, Insite Energy and SAV Systems, approached Brandwidth with a challenge to create a cloud-based, mobile-responsive web application. Their goal was to become the lowest-cost pay-as-you-go smart metering solution for heat networks, a key element for the UK's carbon targets, by providing a positive customer experience.

Working closely with the client's team, Brandwidth developed KURVE, the UK’s first digital smart metering and pay-as-you-go web-app. The solution featured an intuitive interface that facilitated simple payments and transactions. This seamless user experience helped save an average of £370 per property and won the 'Digital Innovation of the Year' award at the Decentralised Energy Awards 2021.
