Xero Shoes, the minimalist-footwear maker, suspected that affiliates in its program were violating terms and hijacking paid-search ads—driving up cost-per-clicks and causing duplicate ad spend—while operating across two separate affiliate networks that made manual monitoring ineffective. BrandVerity implemented its automated affiliate compliance monitoring software/portal to detect and attribute ad hijacks, flag affiliate IDs, capture screenshots and provide historical readouts plus integrated email remediation tools. BrandVerity’s solution quickly uncovered the offending affiliates (Xero had been averaging 11,000–12,000 ad-hijacking violations per week), stopped ongoing losses, saved enough after one demo to pay for a year’s service, eliminated daily manual searches, reduced duplicate ad spend and freed Xero Shoes to reallocate time and budget to growth.
