Case Study: Tim Hortons boosts UK awareness and sales with Brands2Life

A Brands2Life Case Study

Tim Hortons drives 270+ media hits and 13,500 sales with Brands2Life

The Canadian quick service restaurant Tim Hortons faced the challenge of breaking into the highly competitive UK fast-food market and boosting its brand awareness. To cut through the noise, it partnered with Brands2Life for an earned media relations campaign that aimed to create a bold, attention-grabbing moment and drive cultural relevance.

Brands2Life executed a two-phase campaign centered around a playful "Naughty but Nice" theme. It first teased new menu items on April Fool's Day and then commissioned a poll to crown the UK's nicest city, bringing the story to life with a photoshoot in the winning location, Liverpool. The campaign generated over 270 media hits, including 12 nationals, and 97% of the coverage included brand imagery. This effort resulted in 13,500 sales of the promoted menu items and a 14% increase in footfall to Tim Hortons locations.
