Thousands of global assets individually deployable via a central platform

Festo, a global leader in automation with about 20,100 employees, relied on a central Media Hub to share marketing materials across 61 countries but faced falling user acceptance after years of accumulated legacy files, inconsistent keywording, and slow search. The cluttered system (about 13,000 stored assets) made it hard for sales and marketing teams to find relevant content quickly.

Working with BrandMaker, Festo relaunched its Digital Asset Management in 2019, cleaning the library to roughly 5,000 relevant assets, standardizing metadata, updating the UI, and introducing clear role-based access and automated user administration. The result: faster, easier access to materials, higher user satisfaction and activity (about 1,500 active users, ~600 log-ins/month and ~450 uploads/downloads/month), and reduced strain on Festo’s internal IT.
