UNICEF USA Partners with Brandlive to Exceed Fundraising Goals

UNICEF USA, a long-standing humanitarian organization, moved its annual Changemaker benefit to a virtual format in December 2020 after canceling in-person galas due to COVID-19. Facing a fundraising target of $2 million and 600 paid guests, the team prioritized a donor-friendly, secure platform and chose Brandlive after seeing its single-page donation experience at another event.

Brandlive integrated with UNICEF USA’s fundraising systems and delivered features like seamless giving, secure production tools, a Greenroom, scrolling video, and support for live and pre-recorded content. The event more than doubled expectations—raising $4.7 million with 1,300 paid guests (1,300 unique registrations), 4,300+ page views, 1,400+ partner clicks and overwhelmingly positive feedback—prompting UNICEF USA to continue virtual and hybrid events with Brandlive.
