Shoot the Moon Productions, a Minneapolis-based full-service production company founded in 1993, was hired by the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum to produce its first-ever virtual conference, Awayzgoose 2020 (renamed “Awayzgoose” for the online format). Owner JP Porter needed a virtual events platform that could meet production-specific requirements—streaming options, clear division of responsibilities, and support for hands‑on museum stakeholders—after vetting more than 50 vendors.
