NOVA Medical, founded in 1993 by Sue Chen, designs stylish medical equipment and sells directly to retailers. As the company grew to 70+ employees and a broad retailer network, Chen struggled to communicate efficiently across the organization and felt the healthcare industry lagged in modern, streamlined communication.
In 2016 NOVA adopted Brandlive and launched “NOVALive!”—four dedicated channels for retailer training, product deep dives, internal meetings, and partner specials—allowing Chen to reach retailers and staff without boarding 70+ planes a year. The platform centralized training and sales communication, gave Chen more time to educate and inspire (even prompting her to rebrand her role as Chief Education Officer), and positioned NOVA as a more connected, education-focused leader in the industry.
