Meredith’s Food & Wine Chooses Brandlive for Annual “food & Wine Classic in Aspen/at Home” Virtual Event

Meredith’s Food & Wine faced a sudden COVID-19 pivot in July 2020 when its long-running Food & Wine Classic in Aspen—an in-person three-day gala with celebrity chefs, tastings, and charity partners—had to move online. The team needed to recreate the event’s branded TV-style production, enable interactive wine tastings and donations, capture attendee data, and scale the experience without losing sponsor visibility or the fundraising mission.

Brandlive delivered Events and Greenroom plus remote production, custom registration, an iFrame to Food & Wine’s site and a YouTube simulcast, live polling, and branded transitions with a mix of live and pre-recorded content. The virtual gala drew 9,800+ total views (7,000 registered), 1,000 YouTube viewers, 1,800+ on-demand views, generated over $30,000 for charities, recorded 700+ comments and 100+ audience Q&A, and led to continued Meredith–Brandlive event partnerships.
