HealthSparq Goes Live for Health Care Reform

HealthSparq, a health care solutions organization campaigning for reform under #WhatTheHealthCare, needed a way to convene patients, advocates and professionals for its first live event, “What’s the Fix?”, and to give a broad community a voice in a town-hall style forum despite limited in-person options.

They used the Brandlive platform to stream an eight-hour conference with 13 speakers, enabling a highly interactive experience (2,000+ comments) and simulcasting to Facebook and Twitter with a hashtag listener that reached over 10 million Twitter feeds. The event trended nationally on Twitter, drew 400+ live participants on the Brandlive page, and all sessions were archived for on-demand viewing and continued education.
