ARK Invest, a New York–based investment adviser managing roughly $28 billion and known for its research-driven summits, faced a sudden challenge in early 2020: its 2,000‑person BIS2020 conference at Columbia University had to move online because of COVID-19. With only about 10 days to pivot, ARK needed a virtual solution that preserved a branded, professional experience and integrated with its marketing systems.
Working with Brandlive, ARK used Brandlive Events, Greenroom, and a dedicated production and customer‑success team to deliver a customized, fully branded virtual summit with CRM integration, chat, Q&A, presenter bios and rehearsed remote speakers. The event drew 13,000+ total views (including 4,000+ registered guests with captured data and 6,000+ on‑demand views), generated 200+ comments and 100+ audience questions, and received strong attendee feedback—enabling ARK to continue its virtual event series.
