Amazon’s Annual Design Symposium Leans into the Hybrid Experience With Incredible Success

Amazon needed to create an impactful, elevated design symposium for its hybrid workforce, ensuring people could participate equally whether they were in Seattle or tuning in remotely. For Conflux 2021, Amazon partnered with Brandlive to deliver the event with a seamless digital experience and accessibility features that met its inclusion requirements.

Brandlive implemented a hybrid event platform with live and pre-recorded video, chat engagement, closed captioning, and easy speaker-page building to support a smooth backstage and viewing experience. The result was a two-day event with 16 speakers and 1,500+ attendees from around the world, driving stronger engagement, expanded inclusivity, and attendee satisfaction that reportedly surpassed some previous in-person events.
