Studio Gear Cosmetics, a professional makeup brand carried by retailers like Bloomingdale's, Macy's and ULTA, needed targeted feedback on a new product line and wanted to understand influencer purchasing behavior and sentiment. They partnered with BrandBacker, using BrandBacker’s influencer teams, exposure campaigns, blogger recommendations, survey opportunities and Google Hangouts feature to reach relevant influencers in their target demographics.
BrandBacker built a cross‑demographic influencer team and ran surveys and live video roundtables to capture feedback; the program yielded 210 completed surveys, 30 bloggers in roundtables, 248 blog posts, 436 social posts, 3.5M people reached and 1,316 likes. BrandBacker’s insights directly informed Studio Gear’s product development and marketing strategy.
