The Pepsi Soda Bar partnered with Brand Spanking to create a mobile retail unit that would do more than sell products — it needed to deliver a distinctive Pepsi brand experience wherever the target audience gathered. The brief called for a functional, attention-grabbing activation that could tap into current consumer trends and work across a wide range of events and locations.

Brand Spanking solved this by refurbishing an Airstream Argosy caravan into the Pepsi Soda Bar, adding a large side opening, touchscreen browsing for the Pepsi online store and Facebook page, and custom drink offerings such as ice cream floats and slushies. The unit activated successfully at major events including Auckland Council’s Music in the Park and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, generating universally positive feedback and drawing queues for Pepsi products unlike anything previously seen in New Zealand.
