T&G Global Limited wanted to increase purchase occurrence of oranges, so they partnered with Brand Spanking to revive the nostalgic “half time orange” idea for Turners & Growers during winter 2015. The goal was to appeal to parents’ memories while encouraging a new generation of kids to enjoy healthy sports-field snacks.

Brand Spanking developed the concept and visual lock-up in-house and rolled out the Half Time Crew, which delivered branded containers of pre-cut oranges to sports teams at Auckland grounds. The containers were left with the teams to encourage repeat use and future purchase of healthy half-time snacks, and the campaign received hugely positive feedback from both kids and parents, though no specific numeric uplift was provided.
