BCITO, New Zealand’s largest provider of construction apprenticeships, wanted to raise awareness of the industry’s growing labour shortfall while also showcasing the career opportunities available. Brand Spanking supported the challenge with a content-led, fully integrated campaign centered on promoting BCITO’s apprenticeship message.

Brand Spanking coordinated the physical activation by building “Not Your Average Shed” at Auckland’s Sylvia Park mall, working with several boutique agencies to bring the idea to life. The campaign delivered strong results: web traffic rose more than 30% versus the prior year, conversion rates doubled, and total registrations increased by over 160%. The work also earned a Silver at the Beacons and a category win at the Marketing Awards.
