CPG Client Increases CTR by 4x in Holiday Campaign

A popular CPG company partnered with SHIFT to run a short Valentine’s Day campaign aimed at boosting engagement on Facebook. The challenge was high: a very short flight during an intensely competitive holiday period, with a primary goal of maximizing engagement and a secondary target of keeping CPC under $1.

SHIFT used Promoted Page Posts (photo and video) placed in the News Feed on mobile and desktop, targeting users by relationship status and relevant interests. The campaign drove over 140,000 clicks in two days, achieved a 5.5% CTR (about 4× the industry benchmark), and delivered a CPC nearly 80% below the industry benchmark.
