Children’s Aid Society of Toronto launches new brand on time and on budget with Brand Matters

The Children’s Aid Society of Toronto needed a compelling brand platform for its newly formed CAST Child Welfare Institute, a division that provides services to social workers. A key challenge was engaging a diverse group of social workers from partner agencies across Ontario. They engaged Brand Matters to address this challenge using their Market Research & Brand Insight and Brand Strategy services.

Brand Matters implemented a strategy that began with focus group moderation to gain stakeholder input, which led to a market positioning and naming recommendation. This process developed a visual identity supported by graphic standards and training. As a result, the client launched the new brand on time and on budget. Brand Matters' work also provided the client with a greater understanding of their market and the most effective ways to communicate, increasing their knowledge of which products would be of most interest.
