Home Box, the omni-channel retailer and subsidiary of Landmark Group, wanted to boost mobile app growth and get clearer visibility into which marketing channels were driving results. Its static web banners were underperforming, and the team needed a better web-to-app experience plus a unified view of app KPIs across paid and organic efforts. Home Box turned to Branch and its Journeys, Dashboard, and Universal Ads products to help solve these challenges.
Branch implemented incentive-based smart banners with deep linking to the Home Box app, offered 5% off first in-app orders, and set up interstitials and A/B testing to optimize conversion. Branch also provided real-time analytics and attribution reporting through the Branch Dashboard and Universal Ads. As a result, Home Box increased app installs by 42% and total revenue by 180%, with Branch Journeys contributing more than 28% of revenue.
