iFIT is a subscription-based fitness platform that provides interactive workouts, tracking, and connected-equipment control for brands like NordicTrack and Proform. After expanding to non-connected apps during the pandemic, a growing share of its audience moved to mobile web, and iFIT needed a frictionless web-to-app acquisition funnel to avoid drop-off in the Google Play Store and boost installs and engagement.

iFIT partnered with Branch and Digital Turbine to deploy Branch Journeys banners and Digital Turbine’s SingleTap background-install flow wrapped with Branch deep links, preserving click context through install. The combined solution let users install and open the app without leaving the mobile site, lifting click-to-install rates from under 20% to 70% (a 3.5x increase in web-to-app conversions) and converting organic web traffic at zero additional cost.
