Boats Group, the operator of major online boating marketplaces including Boat Trader and YachtWorld, wanted to move more mobile web users into its apps to boost engagement and lead conversion. Its existing setup made banners hard to manage, limited A/B testing, and offered weak deep linking and analytics, so the company turned to Branch for mobile web-to-app linking and measurement.
Branch implemented Journeys smart banners, deep and universal linking, A/B testing, QR codes, email links, paid media integrations, and centralized reporting in the Branch Dashboard. The result was a 20%–30% increase in view-to-install conversions, a 23% lift in MAUs, and 55%–60% of mobile leads coming from the apps, while improving operational efficiency and preserving retention.
