Hostelworld, the global travel platform for budget-conscious adventurers, needed better visibility into campaign performance and a stronger way to drive new user acquisition across mobile and web. To solve this, Hostelworld partnered with Branch and used its Engagement and Performance products to improve attribution, deep linking, and measurement across its marketing channels.
Branch implemented Universal Ads, QR codes backed by deep links, Quick Links, and Data Feeds to connect the customer journey from ads, social, email, and hostel posters into the app. The results included a 101% increase in bookings in the first half of 2023, a 48% rise in average new users year over year, and a 39.49% click-to-install rate for organic links, helping Hostelworld boost engagement and ROI.
