RADIO.COM, part of Entercom and home to 300+ local radio stations and 3,000+ podcasts, was relaunching its platform after acquiring CBS Radio and needed to move listeners from station websites and mobile web into a single, rebranded app. The challenge was to drive seamless, contextual app installs and maintain each station’s local branding while increasing engagement and lifetime value.
RADIO.COM integrated Branch Quick Links for multi-channel attribution and used Branch Journeys to serve personalized mobile web banners and interstitials that led users into the app (and directly to the correct station after install). In the first month Branch drove 63% of RADIO.COM’s app installs and achieved a 61% click-to-install rate, while providing a unified attribution dashboard that improved marketing decisions and enabled rollout of Branch Universal Ads.
