Bloom & Wild is a mobile-first florist that built iOS and Android apps to let customers order flowers quickly on the go. Their challenge was to drive app adoption from mobile web visitors—avoiding expensive paid acquisition—because app users convert more and have higher lifetime value.
They implemented Branch’s Journeys web-to-app banners and deep links, using audience segmentation to target only non-app users, A/B testing and a WYSIWYG editor to optimize creatives, and passing coupon codes into the app for a seamless experience. The result: in‑app first purchases doubled almost immediately, increasing engagement and LTV while letting marketing run campaigns without developer support.
