Panasonic Avionic upgrades their software—and their adoption process

Panasonic Avionics, a global aviation company with over 3,500 employees, faced the daunting challenge of driving user adoption for its Microsoft 365 rollout across 40-plus countries. The company needed to ensure its workforce understood not just how to use the new tools like Teams and OneDrive, but also why the change was happening, all while aiming to reduce the burden on its technical support team during the transition.

To address this, Panasonic Avionics partnered with BrainStorm and leveraged its software adoption platform. BrainStorm provided purpose-driven communication templates, targeted skill-building content, and a vast knowledge base that integrated with the company's ServiceNow portal. This solution empowered employees with self-service support and training. The results were significant, with 97% of users becoming active in Microsoft Teams and 94% in OneDrive. Within a year, usage of these applications more than doubled and tripled, respectively, and Teams chats came to represent 77% of outbound communications, demonstrating improved efficiency and a strong return on investment.
