Efficient board communications at Switzerland’s largest media firm

SRG SSR, Switzerland’s largest media company (about 6,000 employees, CHF 1.65 billion turnover), needed a stable, secure board-communications solution that met strict procurement and data‑security requirements after an existing app proved unreliable and iPad‑only. After evaluating vendors, SRG SSR selected Brainloop and its BoardRoom SaaS to provide a certified, Switzerland‑hosted platform that supports granular user roles and document protection.

Brainloop implemented BoardRoom with on‑site training, defined datarooms and role‑based permissions, and administrator/operator shielding; the board moved to exclusive use in early 2017. Today about 50 users (roughly 50% of the executive team and advisors) run 40+ board and delegate meetings per year through the platform, enabling multi‑device access, editable documents (including large Excel files), far less paper, greater efficiency and stability, and minimal support needs — all while meeting SRG SSR’s security and compliance requirements.
