Osborne, one of the UK’s leading family-owned construction businesses, struggled with a stressful, time-consuming board pack process that required chasing contributions, printing and posting large PDFs, and managing updates for 15 directors across ~30 meetings a year. To address these issues they engaged Brainloop and deployed the Brainloop Board Portal to improve security, accessibility and the efficiency of board administration.

Brainloop implemented a pilot in March 2016 and rolled the Board Portal out across all boards, providing cross-platform access, synced annotations, secure document distribution and easy pack assembly from Outlook. The solution made meetings paperless, enabled administrators to produce a board pack in under an hour (saving more than 50% of their time), reduced printing/postage and increased control and auditability — and was delivered ahead of schedule and under budget by Brainloop.
