TVH Equipment, a rental equipment company, faced a challenge where its customer support team spent an excessive amount of time manually processing a high volume of unstructured orders received via email and PDF. This repetitive task led to a heavy workload, increased errors, and less time for meaningful customer interaction. To address this, they partnered with vendor Brainjar to implement an artificial intelligence solution.
Brainjar developed an AI application that integrated with TVH’s Office 365 mailbox and ERP software. Using natural language processing, the solution automates order processing. The AI models are continuously trained by corrections made through an intuitive user interface, leading to ongoing improvements. The results included a significant reduction in errors, a decrease in credit notes, and more time for the support team to focus on customer relationships and business development.
