The Multinational Pharmaceutical Company engaged BrainBox AI to help decarbonize its operations and support a goal of cutting greenhouse gas emissions 40% by 2025. The company selected BrainBox AI’s AI-driven building controls solution for a sustainability and energy program at its Californian campus, targeting HVAC systems in an 88,980 ft² office building (44,490 ft² controlled) that runs on Siemens controls.

BrainBox AI mapped and labeled equipment using Haystack tagging, trained its AI to learn zone thermal behavior and ingest weather forecasts (predicting zone states with up to 99.6% accuracy), then deployed optimized control algorithms. The BrainBox AI solution produced a 16% annualized electricity reduction on HVAC (~156,000 kWh), cut 95 tCO2eq, reduced peak demand and curtailed non‑renewable generation—bringing the Multinational Pharmaceutical Company closer to its sustainability targets.
